1.
Lowering an arm to unshield mine eyes, in a small meadow sheltered by bamboo trees, I. They reach toward an overcast sky of drear. Tall grass from subterranean rice seeds sway in a light, cool breeze. Then a hum fills the air from beyond this place. Bombarded by pure tones of beauty, clearing away my heart's guards. Sadness and grief toiling inside. Thought they had passed long ago. Still, there exists a sorrow. One dew drop falls from me, wiped away by a soft hand. Long locks of blonde disappear with it onto a new path, beyond the meadow.
2.
How could You be here, running from me, the trees stretching onwards endlessly? Didn't You leave me by the Scorpion's side, couldn't handle the pain You were trying to hide? Feet falter, reminding myself of your absence, and I lean o'er a bridge - looking into the calm water. Until now, I hadn't thought your passing would remain with me this long. Though spirit is held within, it's no substitute for Her, my only familiar kin.
3.
A soft blossom sends gentle ripples outward, touching the water's surface. Then a gentle gust arrives, petals upon it, drawing me on farther. Subtle birdsong lifts my mind up out of the dirt, bringing me back to Nature's thrall. Blooms of pink dancing with white lights encircle my figure and pull me onward, afloat.
4.
Vale stretching forth in each direction, greets my airborne figure's lightened dimension as I touch down on the sturdy ground. The tall grass brushes soft against me, sun-streaks breaking the clouds' melancholy. Dew-speckled sprouts glimmer in spectra, beyond my old vision. Colours and shades of cosmic design distract a mind of root-deepened pain.
5.
Lone cold tear, which fell from the sky, how can you do this to me? Let me stay in this earthen bliss, far away from the one I miss. But the sun goes dark, covered by clouds of tungsten and stark, the floodgates flung open as within my heart. She's leaking through the cracks formed when Her soul left, absence leaking through. I let the waters drench, immobile in sadness, painted in regret.
6.
Nightsong 03:53
Waking under stars, I breathe deep the night air, sparse clouds dark. Push myself from the mud and grass, body tired with a burdened past. Moons three shine down, the soaked land pale and sparkling, parting a path to lights not so far ahead. A bridge of aethereal glass, mint green illum'ed on each end, stretching across calm pond. The glass itself made of water and sky, solid beneath my barefoot hesitation.
7.
Lotus flowers glow pure, a familiar breeze pulling like lures. Cherry blossoms from dirt rise up to join them, each hanging on air like celestial gems. Pale emerald archways come to life, decorating the silhouette of a great mountain on the horizon. Finally, a star of magenta alights the peak, showing a path to the Guardian that I've come to seek. I journey forth, pausing before the first gate, foot of the mountain jagged and intimidating.
8.
Stepping into a haze of aural blush and mint, turning to crimson with thorns black, I remember Her old abode. Stranded in space, abandoned in hate. I anger, not at Her departure, but at those that drove one so pure to an act so dark. Couldn't let go of their primitive ways, stuck in a cycle of endless decay. But it's no use, staying so heated for those already gone, fallen away from a crystal embrace The fact is She's gone, no matter what, except for the Spirit inside, patiently waiting to join a family stronger than blood.
9.
Throughout the castle and kingdom before, I tried my best to go it alone, awaken the Scales. Though freedom shone and balance returned, Her absence was felt down to my bones. I had been a vagabond, drifting forever. Only Her presence made it vanish, gave my struggle an end. Inadequacy fills my mind, at low times as these. I couldn't save Her from Her disease.
10.
So many dreams had I; as many as the stars that we flew by - To grow deeper in love. Reach our Mother fulfilled with siblings endless and kind. See my planet's remaining people living amongst the radiant life. Can I still attain them, with such a loss inside? I wish you could've stayed, found a way to remain, but I know you'd just continue to struggle in vain. Some things can't last forever. Of course they'll come true, as they are mine alone. I only wanted to share them with you.

Face to Face 06:53
Within the haze, a threshold of light appears, away from this place of a mending heart and a labyrinth of pain. Crossing over, touching the earth on fours, I smell a sweetness as a pale hand lands soft on my wet cheek. I gaze to see the Virgin, elegant kimono coloured like sakura, golden fengguan shining with her sign adorned. Hair ink-black and flowing, a familiar breeze comes, unveiling her beauty.
12.
Tears turn to spectral butterflies made of soft light as she helps me stand upright. Guiding me through a garden, fair and diverse greenery about, we halt at a great door of solid dark earth and pale lotuses aglow. A touch of flesh and dancing digits, vines respond with roots, weaving together a complex design. Then dirt falls away and tracings remain, swinging wide to reveal a place with no shame. Grand cherry blossom, tall and proud, radiating delicate crimson-magenta, stripping me of my shroud.
13.
For a time I sat, head on Astraea's lap, tree dripping soft dew upon me. Then we looked out beyond, to the field where I had lain, and the down the mountain's face. Like a serpent entwined 'round unlucky prey or a trunk, an energy loop surrounded the jagged walls of rock, showing my path through the gates of Cleansing and Grief. I looked to her eyes, earthen and clever, coming to feel their message, in the growing sunrise - Far have I traveled through stars and this place, many lessons enveloped, home displaced. Still farther I have to go, more Guardians to align with in the far reaches of space. Loss has not consumed me, nor will it ever. My family's waiting, no matter the weather. Lifted with lotus and blossoms alike, I'm sent up to the expanse, fierce Lion my light.
